Hi, someday can gelp me here please.. My TRV will expire on march 2016 same as my work permit , so i need to apply for extention of WP. Can i apply at the same time with my TRV ? And for what ive read to this forum ,applying for Extention is a bit slow , and i need to have a medical exam bec i change employer my previous medical exam is pass due, they need a medical exam within the last 12 months.. Please guys who ever has an idea of this , kindly message me.. Thank you and Godbless

If you will not going outside canada you do not need to renew your TRV and work permit is one of the requirement for applying TRV and the new TRV expiration will be based from your wp expiration. You should apply for work permit extension first then once you received your new wp you can renew TRV.

As per the CIC update., its 120 days now..They must be processing Aug last week applications...i m in the same category but did not receive any updates

CIC website updated today: working on Sep. 3rd applications. (waiting time 105 days)

I submitted August 20th, online, still waiting!

I have a question for all of you. Do you all extend your work permit after a PGWP? And you need an LMIA for this am I correct?
