Work Permit Extension and Multiple Visa near expiration

To anyone,

Please I need help, my WP for LCP will soon expire 5 months from now I'll still be working under the same employer but the child that I'm looking after is already 14 years old-- will that be an issue? or should I look for a new employer?
plus the Canadian Multiple Entry visa issued to me will expire also, same date as the expiration of my WP--should I apply also for extension for this? how?

i think its not a big deal as long as they still need u... u can renew ur work permit,, visa still ok if ur not going out side canada if u r planing for vacation outside canada u need to renew or get a reentry

ASAP...I'm working as a live in caregiver and my working permit and visa will expire on the 2nd of July 2011,but i already submitted my application for the renewal last march 23 with the same employer,and she book me for my vacation on the 8th of June 2011 to the 8th of July 2011..can I leave Canada without the arrival of my new working permit? or is it okay for me to take my vacation on june 8 and come back to Canada days before July 2? thank you so much for your great help!!!more power!!!

A bit tight considering the processing time of WP apps. Might work. Ask for a letter from your employer stating that you are allowed to go on a vacation and is going to work
for them again when you come back. Technically, you should not have a problem if you come back before the expiration of your TRV and WP. Your entry is so dependent upon the POE officer you'll have upon your return.

big thanks!!!! two more questions please.... on my WP the remarks written there is: 39 month working permit...and the date of expiration will be july 2, 2011.. and my no.of entry in my Visa is MULTIPLE..please i need further explanation..thanks

the validity of your working permit is until july 2, 2011 meaning you have to renew that at least a month before. if you want to go on vacation, do that before the expiration of your visa and your work permit to avoid any hassle from the immigration officer. you may go out of canada as many times as you want provided your visa is valid.

hmm... sounds risky since you're work permit extension is still on process. take with you a copy, receipt or any proof that you applied for your work permit extension, your current work permit, visa, job contract which says the period of your employment and a letter from your employer stating that you are just on vacation and still currently employed.

but still everything depends on the immigration officer. if you come back to canada before the expiration of your visa, at least a little bit safe on your side. or you my check also with your visa office in our hojme country if you can apply for re-entry visa. remember, you should have all your documents valid as much as possible upon entering canada again. goodluck on your decision!

Dear All,

Any Idea why its going to be late after sending passports to Islamabad for stamps, as they already took more than one month time to check everything when we sent photocopies of passports at London that is step1..... after that step2 when you send passports than again they are taking time I don't know why? I am little bit worried by the courier service here I am not satisfied. Did they received our Passports by Islamabad office or not? I sent email but didn't get any reply before they always reply when our documents was processing at London, and for the last two month after step1 it shown Decision made and the office will contact you about this decision than I received step2 one month ago to send passports and photos, yet may be a Rush of other Visa stamped like Refugees.Please reply anyone had idea What is the Procedure and duties at Islamabad office after all procedure from London, because after sending copies as per request step1 at London they took about 35-45 days to check everything than send letter for step2 to send passports than I think at Islamabad only they stamps.Please share experience! What is the Procedure at Islamabad office? I will have to wait or send Email again as my husband had routine meetings outside the Country, he is the Principal applicant his team members today gone after wait too much for the passports rather than 10 days its already 33 days so they cannot wait more.He is a Team Manager and he is here and bit confused what to do now call them or email again, already had to apply other visa as their invitation visas he received and without Passports how can he apply.Need sincere advise as he heard at Mehran hotel on 26th feb 2012,one of the family told his relatives received after 2.5 month because their baby born but that is special case that their baby born.Please I request those family who were next to us please share their experience why it was late on their case is he the same Category Provincial Nominee (Sponsor) or other category.Thanks

Hi amazing grace, just a question, did you take your vaction last year and came back before the expiry of your wp? If so, did you experience any difficulty at the immigration here in canda? I also have the same situation as you and planning to take a vaction.
