Hello, I applied work permit extension on Nov 2022 sponsored by my husband (his study permit expiry date is Mar 31, 2023). Given by the 6 months processing time, I feel like my application will be rejected at that time. My current work permit expired on Dec 6, 2022. I am now in implied status.
My husband will apply for his study permit extension soon. We would like to apply for his extension and my work permit extension again in one application. I heard that I can then submit a IRCC web form to request them review my old extension and new extension together.
My question is:
1. does the above method works?
2. how should I answer the question about restore status in the questionnaire? (Should I choose no? If I choose yes, will I lost my implied status?)
3. is there anything else I should be aware of?
