Hi everyone,
I need some help pls. I got nominated in Saskatchewan. But my closed work permit will expire in the end of August. Can i extend my closed work permit to open work permit? How can i do that? Where can i find the right application because i saw a lot of applications in CIC, i dont know which one? Pls help me. Thanks so much

Do you have an AOR from CIO Sydney?

If so you can apply for the bridging open work permit.

Go to cic.gc.ca and select work permit and then open work permit(bridging ) but you cannot apply if you don't have an AOR from CIC in Sydney.

If you under the process of getting PR and already got a file number from CIC, here is the link for extending you work permit, chances are you might not get a open work permit but if you mention in your cover letter that you would like to get OPEN WORK PERMIT and WHY you might get an open work permit as well
