Work permit expiring on Jan 24th. Can i visit my home country from dec 1 to dec 24?

My PGWP is expiring on Jan 24th 2023? Can I visit my home country from Dec 1 to dec 24?
Should I suspect any issues returning to Canada since only 1 month work permit will be left? I have TRV until Jan 24, 2024.

Why don't you renew your TRV 1st at the 1st place .

I assume your PGWP is gonna expire at the same date as your TRV?

No, the PGWP is expiring on Jan 24 ,2024. and the PGWP is expiring on Jan 24th, 2023. I am not sure why they gave me visa until jan 2024 when my work permit is expiring in Jan 2023.
do you know if we can travel and come back with1 month work permit left?

Confused by your dates. So your PGWP has expired since it is 2023. Then you say…No, the PGWP is expiring on Jan 24 ,2024. and the PGWP is expiring on Jan 24th, 2023. I am not sure why they gave me visa until jan 2024 when my work permit is expiring in Jan 2023.

If you have a valid TRV, you can enter.

Will you be returning to a job? PR application in process so you’d qualify for BOWP? You should be able to enter but if you don’t have employment and your permit is about to expire there may be concerns about you trying to overstay. You should be able to at least get a limited stay until you PGWP expires.
