Work permit expiring next month june 2014

Hi i need ur help. My husbands work permit is expiring next month however we have just submitted a in canada spousal sponsorship after 5 months of being married. It took us long to gather police and medical done. But because of the moratorium ow on foreign workers he didnt have his work permit renewed. So his current expiring nextmonth. However, we included extend stay as a worker application in our spousal application. My question is that what if cic finds out that maybe we have some documents that are not correct sayoption c in the application it would be sent back to us. Would it be sent back together with his extension of stay? Im scared and dont know what to do if it is sent back like june when it is near his expiry of wp what should i do?

IF...your application is returned and you have to re-submit and basically `get in line again', then the OWP (IMM5710) that you submitted with your application, to give him implied status, would likely NOT give him implied status.
