Hello,

I am international student who entered the Canada in term of fall of 2017,starting my study but after two month because of some problem so i withdrawn from the collage ,and i restunred to my country . I want to apply for another collage for fall of 2018,but i read in CIC website if "studied for more than eight months but not continuously (for example, you took a semester off)" i wouldn't be eligible for applying to work permit after my graduation!is that right , and including me? what is the solution? how should i explain it and contact to CIC.I have my valid study permit and visa until 2021 someone please help .it is very important for me i need to know.

The rule you are saying is for any international student on Student Visa in Canada, in order for them to be eligible for WP they will have to show continuous education. In your case as far as I can say, what i think will happen is, although you have student visa, they will see do you have continuous education on present education provider which will be your new college from 2018 fall. If you demonstrate you have 8month regular education you will be eligible for work permit after you complete your new course (continuously) .
Good Luck
