WORK PERMIT approved but no Letter of Introduction. What do I do?

Hi,

I applied for an IEC visa and sent in all documents for the work permit. I got a notification from CIC saying my application has been updated and when I logged in it says "This application has been appoved". However, there is no letter. What do I do? Do I wait? How long does it take?

It is in your messages for the application, should be a 'down arrow' on that new message.

no there's new messages. Only the message confirming my submission. What do I do?

Ok, just checked my timeline from my last IEC approval. Had an 'updated' email at 5.54 am and a second 'new message' email at 9.57am the same day.

The second email was the LOI.

So give it a few hours.

it's been two days. The update was Tuesday. Is it worth calling the CIC helpline?

rang today. they said letter of introduction was drawn up then cancelled. Try calling again next week if no update in CIC account.

Does anyone know what this means?
