Request whoever has applied for the Work Permit from India or UAE to update their status.

Also, if you are a resident of UAE and have applied for Work Permit in India does your application get transferred to the UAE Embassy?

Hi All,

Happy to inform that me and my spouse have received an invitation to submit our passport to the VFS in India for our work permit application. Open for me and LMIA Approved for my wife

Our timelines were as follows:

Date of online submission: 5 September 2018
Invitation to submit passport: 14 January 2019
Total number of days: 131

I have seen that on an average it is taking approx. 18-19 weeks for applications in India to get work permit.

Hi @iyerkartik - HI i am also resident of UAE . I have the same situation .Can you please tell me the process of applying the work permit in india and later how can my application get transferred to the UAE Embassy?
