I received my passport today morning.
ICT applied -18th Oct.13
passport request -11th feb.14
passport sent to attorney on 12th Feb.14
passport received on 26th by attorney.

Hello Everyone,

The magic just happened. I arrived in office and opened my CIC account and the request for PP was there. This forum is the best. Thanks everyone. About two months ago, I was nervous because the processing time was very long and my I-94 expires in april. I am surprised totally. Will send passport soon.

Congrats. May be less application in Dec & Jan. Even Rahul got his request for passport in 4 weeks.

Received back my passport yesterday. Thanks everybody for posting valuable information and making the wait time easier. Below are my details :-

Applied online: November 22, 2013 (ICT, non-LMO)
Request for passport: February 14, 2014
Passport sent: February 18, 2014 (USPS Express)
Passport received at consulate: February 19. 2014, noon.
Passport sent back from consulate: February 26, 2014, noon.
Passport received: February 27, 2014.

Ok I finally find answer by myself, they won't email you. They will directly mail back, and what you can do is keep tracking...

You check your MYCIC where you may notice your application status as "your application has been processed".

Hi I also received Passport on March 4th.

NYC consulate replied that due to system glitch, the passport requisition letter wasn't delivered to MYCIC account online nor any email to my attorney's email id.

Please beware!!!!!!! Anything is possible with these people.

Finally, received my passport stamped with W-1 Visa.

Here is the timeline:

Online WP application filed @ NYC on Oct 25th '13
A letter was out for passport stamping requisition on Feb 11th '13 (didn't receive it until 25th Feb, due to system glitch - not even my lawyer knew)
Emailed thrice from 14th Feb (no reply), 20th Feb (no reply) & finally 25th Feb email was replied by Canadian consulate with the attached passport requisition letter.
Passport received by the Consulate on Feb 27th '14
Passport received back with stamped Visa on March 10th '14

PP received by Consulate New york: March 4
PP sent back by CC: March 7,2014
PP received back by me: March 8,2014

Hi everyone, Im currently here in Canada now heres my situation i have found an employer for nanny which is they applied for a positive LMo and now i have it but i don't want to work for them anymore because they took too long to process everything and my time is almost up then now i found another employer who were willing to process everything .. my question is , is it okay to for my new employer to apply for a new LMo in my favor since i still have the last LMo which is still valid but i don't wanna use it and work for them at all..hope you can give me advise whats the best thing to do.. thank you!

Dear All - So I got my passport back from NYC but I did not get anything else, specifically I was expecting a Work Authorization Letter..Is it something that is still issue or has it been discontinued ?

Hey Guys

I have a question. I am currently on a visitor status, and recently got an LMIA approved by my employer. I have been told by CIC that i have to apply workpermit either from my home country or from NYC. Could anyone share their experiences and is there a way to apply online or is it only paper application. Thanks

Hello....please is there anyone that applied for work permit via New York in July and still dose not have an answer! I applied on 31 July and now they are showing on their facebook page that are now processing applications received on 1 of August. My application was sent online. THANKS.
