Work Permit Applications at NYC for 2013

Looks Feb15 is a week old update, and no one got any after that. too sad...waititing it to reach Feb 25

I went to NYC consulate today and got my ICT WP by filling urgent request form.
I applied mine on 15 Feb.

The WP date shows today's date. May be they are still procreasing 15th Feb.

Hi Anand, Do you have to wait for sometime at the consulate to get your work permit? Do they treat in-person urgent requests well?

hey, I have been told there are no options to expedite the WP process.. Is it not true?

My US visa is expiring on 05/11. I mentioned the same in the reason for requesting urgent processing.

I had to wait around 3 hrs in the consulate to get work permit. Yes they process in-person urgent processing requests.

Requesting urgent processing is a hit or miss. If you plan to withdraw the application for any reason this would be a last option.

Looks they are processing Feb 15th applications for the past one week and have not moved any further. None had any update after that date, huge backlog.

What week days can we visit the consulate in person?

Anyone know the way to withdraw only the passport because i have planned to travel to India on this 23rd.

I have even sent an email for withdraw of my application. I am bit nervous about my passport.

I too plan to withdraw my application....
As per this link, The offices are open to the public from 8:45 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.

Friends, I applied Temporary WP on April 1st through Mail .Is there any chance i will get my Passport before June 10th ?

@SA33 - Looks it is open only on Monday, Wed and Friday . In the past this thread was also updated the same.

I believe you did submit on Feb 25 as well, why You withdraw now? Aren't we close ?

Looks the normal processing is now 90 days.

@saaik85 - i applied for ICT on Feb 25th.

@Feb 25 - Not sure mate, 90 days is too long and things within my org seems to be not very promising and certainly not comfortable with that timeline. We were expecting a max of 60 days as promised on website.
