I applied directly. I don't think it matters. Mine is Intra Company Transfer.

Mine is also a Intra Company Transfer, I have applied on 28th Jan still waiting, after sending couple emails to NY Consulate they just sent a mail that they have received the application and it is in queue.

Please let me know when you receive your WP or any email from NY consulate.

This is bad. I have wrote them few times and haven't got any response yet. I hope they process our applications soon. Mine is also Intra Company Transfer WP.

I went to NY consulate today and got my passports with WP within an hour. I had filled the withdraw form.

My WP had yesterday's date so it serms it was already processed.

1 more person was there who filed on 6th feb. they did't give him WP.
So it seems safer bet is to go to consulate in 12th week.

You said you have been to consulate yesterday? Is Tuesday is a working day?

wouldn't it be safer if a person visits the consulate, but just ask them for a status check instead of filling withdrawal form?

No i didn't get any email. My WP had stamp effective 04/16 so i think it was complete yesterday but i didn't receive any communication.

Please provide me the information since I have applied in mid of February.

Mine is ICT. I submitted in person.
Tuesday and Thursday public is not allowed so don't go on those days...
If you applied in mid of Feb, you should not go there before 2nd week of May unless they improve processing times. Today there was 1 person who applied on 6th by post and his application was not processed.

Yes. But he then requested to come again next monday and i am not sure what happened after that
