Work permit application submitted April

I applied for my work permit on April 18, 2017 from with in the US. I have a positive LMIA and submitted it with my application. Any idea how long it may take and anyone else applied waiting from the same period? I have not heard since then and just got the confirmation email after I submitted.

I have an Indian passport Now I have landed in Canada as I had my Visitor visa. I lived in the east coast so I presume the application is being processed at the NY Canadian consulate ?

It took 10 weeks from India for my work permit result.
