My current status :
Employment pass holder in Singapore working in Oil and Gas industry as an Engineer.

My time line :

March 7, 2012 - Job offer recvd
April 19, 2012 - LMO recvd
May 8, 2012 - TRV Application package recvd from company hired immigration lawyer
May 14, 2012 - TRV / WP Application done at CIC, Singy for Me + wife + Son
May 31, 2012 - Bank Demand draft cleared
June 22, 2012 - LMO Expired - (Additional info for reference only)

July 19, 2012 - Singapore police clearance requirement letter recvd
Point to note here : My mailing address is of my immigration lawyer in Canada, so letter requesting clearance cert was sent to Canada by post. Lawyer sent me scanned copy of letter through email. Date mentioned on letter is July 11, 2012. :-[

July 20, 2012 - Visit to Cantonment. COC Processing time is 10 working days.

Aug 10th - CID submitted PCC to CIC Singy.

I called CID to confirm the postage of my PCC. Once they confirmed i visited CIC personally to check application status after a week. They were happy to see me come personally and requested me to submit passport immediately.

After i submitted passports, they gave me a yellow collection slip and asked me visit again after 4 working days.
Collected my visa's after 4 working days.

just want to ask which counter in CIC did you ask for the status of your application?Im waiting for their email but til now, they never reply.when i call up CID yesterday,they told me my COC was send to CIC last july 26. Im trying to call them thru their phone,but no one answer..do i need to see them personally as what you did?

Apologies for the delay in coming back...was not expecting any queries....
I am sure- you might have done this already, in case not - then here you go....

Go to one George street, 11th Level. Take a queue no. There are only two counters there - whoever calls you, tell them your status...

FYI - I may be wrong, but i felt as if the counter lady was also a visa officer...when i visited her last time, she checked her computer, updated me the status and told me what she was waiting for. There was one additional document they expected - however, i confirmed that the document (PCC from some other country) had already been submitted as part of my original application, she was pleasantly surprised and confirmed that she had no clue that it was already there. Then she said, are you in Singy for more than a year now and i replied Yes - this i felt was with respect to know if i needed a medical or not as i belong to a country which needs medical clerance, but since i am in SIngy for more than a year now, i didnt need it.

So coming back - when i said i was here since more than a year, she did some check mark on my file. Surprisingly all my file (application packages) were with her and not at Robinson. I believe all pending cases files are here at one Geroge street.

After putting a tick mark on my file - probably against medical not needed section, she asked me if i had all passports (me + family) - i said yes and then she swiftly collected it and gave me the slips to collect after 4 working days.

Here i asked her, does this mean that my visa's are already approved and she said "NO". However, she said "so far, i dont see any reasons to be worried".

and after 4 days i was clear...

thanks a lot for sharing your timeline,i might go this week to their office to really know whats goin on with my application.im hoping it goes well.my lmo will expire on first week of october 2012, and my employer is waiting for me as soon as visa is being release.

been out for a long period of time. yes, I'm a pinoy. Did receive our visas since early May and we flew here in Calgary immediately afterwards.

ano pong na provide nyo regarding sa "evidence that you meet the job offer" kelangan pa ba yun leave of absence sa current employer? since magreresign nmn ako pag ka tanggap ng WP if granted.

please help po mga experienced,
