Applied -July 3rd (medical and biometerics done already )
Status changed to eligibility review on August 20 .
Hoping to hear something soon. What is the status of application right now ?

Applied on 11th June 2019 , Medical confirmed ok on 12 June 2019 Biometric 14 June 2019
Applying under the Global Talent Stream program which is supposed to take 14 days for processing.
When i call ircc the only answer yeah we've passed the usual processing times we wrote to the visa office and your application is under review, you need only to wait.
It's been 11 weeks now.....

Hello Everyone
For me an immigration attorney working with the company hiring me applied on my behalf on 11th of June 2019 , Bio-metrics given on 14th of June.
We are a couple with two children, we live in Czech republic and we did the biometric in Vienna as in Czech republic there is no visa center .
On their website they shows 7 weeks for Czech republic but it's been now 10 weeks.
Knowing that i applied in the Global Talents Stream which is supposed to have a processing time of two weeks
Last week i've called to IRCC and surprise my application is not in Vienna but in Edmonton, according to two different agents all checks passed between 11th of June and 21st of June 2019 and since then nothing changed on the application, and both of the guys were surprised.
One of them wrote to the visa office to ask for the status but he told me it can take up to 30 days to get answer from them...
What's going on with Edmonton office??? I know also that Sydney office is facing same issues.....

My company's attorney applied online for work permit on 11th of February under the global talent stream. Since beginning of March till now my case is stuck on the background check. Last additional information was required in the end of June. It is 30 weeks in total already instead of 3 claimed by global talent stream and 6 weeks for regular processing (for application from Russia). The case hase been moved to Edmonton in April. In the beginning of July the attorney oerdered ATIP notes, and now responce till now.
I don't wait it anymore. That's enough

Passport submit to VAC on 10 jan 2020 ( late because i was in turkey)
Passport received with visa on 16-Jan-2020.
Arrival in Canada on 19-jan-2020
