work permit application from pakistan

hi all,
i got a job from canadian employer and he has processed LMO aswell. i am currently in uk, but as my visa is running out.i have to go back and apply from pakistan.
could any 1 tell me the processing time for work permit application plz. embassy's web site says 4 months. does embassy take 4 months or more than 4 months.
could any share his/her experience please.

Last yr, I knw it was 9 months.. I am nt sure abt this yr.. Would highly recommend you to apply online if you can.

Processing time of work permit application in Pakistan is 16 weeks based on their website: http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/pakistan/visas/processing-traitement.aspx?lang=eng&view=d. In most cases just add up to 2-4 weeks time. Good luck
