Guys, can I undergo medical examination in the Philippines? I am scheduled for a vacation this May and I want it to be done there. It is also very expensive undergoing medical examination here in KSA compared to the Philippines which only cost around 400-500sr.

I read in CIC that I can choose any panel doctor anywhere in the world even if it is not from the country of residence. Hope somebody out there can share their experience dealing with this kind of situation.

-if i were you i would do it here in KSA before you go on vacation.. dont think about the cost of the medical if you're not sure if its ok to do it in the phil. Ako nga pikit mata sa bayad ng medical eh 1.3k riyals... grabe. And it was stated in the letter that you must do the medical with in 30 days right?

The clinic here is not so strict compare to philippines...the doctor will conduct vital examinations and most of all they have considerations because they understand that we spent lot of money, effort and time for our application
I called vfs global last sunday because i'm worried with my application and the manager advised me to wait for the advise, currently my papers are under processed and he told that cic will not send email if papers are already complete. We will wait for the advise if visa stamping. 1 thing is, the family of our NICU specialist migrated in canada, he told me that the passport will be send either to hongkong or uk for stamping that's why it took months.

Just be patient. It is coming. Claim it! It's yours!

Thanks for the advice. An angel came to me last night and helped me with my financial problem. I'll undergo my medical next week. When is yours?

My medical request is valid for 60 days.

What are the criteria for interview request? Anybody know? I read that some applicants under LCP are undergoing interviews but not all. Just want to know how they are selecting it.

Dont bother about the interview. If your far from the embassy maybe they wont request one for us!
