congratz it means your visa has been approved already, usually it will be valid for two years so you will have plenty of time but it depends on your employer when he/she needs you to come to canada. goodluck and godbless...

Since my passport will expire on Feb, 2015 they can issue me visa until this date. What if i want to extend first my passport before submitting to canadian embassy, it's still okay?

Hi Reyn,

Yung hubby ko ay on process pa lang, dito na sya sa pinas at waiting for passport with stamp dahil kapapadala lang dyan sa riyadh embassy. Ang alam ko after visa stamping pwede mo ng asikasuhin ang documents mo sa poea like Pdos, owwa, addendum at oec and ofcourse ticket.

it means sa pinas na ng antay ng result ung hubby mo? ng inform ba xa sa embassy na dun na lng xa sa pinas mag antay? through aramex din ba pinadala ang passport sa embassy? pwede malaman ang adres ng aramex sa pinas. at saka kailangan pa bang e inform ang aramex d2 saudi tungkol sa change adres just in case my e mail ang embassy? ksi plano ko rin sana na sa pinas na lng mag antay ng result ng application ko.. thank you very much.

yes po Ajt, end of contract na sya kya umuwi na sya dito pinas nung july, dito na lng nya inantay ung approval. di na nya ininform ang embassy. Nung last week nakarecievd sya ng email na approvd na visa nya at pinapapasa ang passport before 12-07 kya pinorward nya na. Eto address ng acredited ng aramex dito pinas. It is located in Oyster Industrial Complex, NAIA avenue, San Dioniso, under Raf International, pwede mong isearch aramex philippines mag aapear yan. Search mo din sa ibang forum if im not mistaken sa work permit application sa abuhabi embassy page 143 under kay antipatika, naging succesful nman ung sa kanya. Godbless to us

Ajt, please see to it that all the requirements need to be done in saudi arabia are already forwarded to them especially when you require an additional documents or medical. Be sure to settle all this before you come in our hometown. Just a reminder, All the best

yup al hassa.. im just waiting for d aditional doc they required from my employer in canada. then i wil wait for d medical req. im planing to go exit ds april hopefuly by dat tym im done with my medical already by gods grace.. thank you for d reminder.

Guys, I strongly suggest you don't come back here in the Philippines if your VISA is already approved in Saudi. I came to POEA early this morning and was given a number very far from what is currently being served at the counters. I've waited 4 hours for my number to be called. By the way, there are steps 1 and 2. Step 1 is where they will check your papers. Don't trust that all they post is complete. I was really surprised to know that eventhough I thought all my papers were complete it really wasn't. I was patiently waiting for my number to be called just to realize that there is a separate line for household workers, household help and live in caregivers which is in window 12 in the name hire section in the second floor of POEA. So I was served at 3pm even though I came at 9:30am. There is really no line in window 12, just so you know. And there to my dismay, that they are requiring additional documents other than what they posted. They would be requiring verification of contract signed by the Philippine Overseas Labor Office if there is available in the country where your contract was made. It is okay if it is only scanned copy according to the lady in the counter. Plus an additional request for your employers profile having your employers address, telephone/cellphone number, company name, salary and scanned ID of your employer. For me since my sister was married to my employer they required another document for their marriage certificate. And last but not the least an affidavit of how you met your employer and why he decided to hire you notarized. After completing this requirements or if you already have all of this you can either attend the PDOS which is free in POEA while the papers you are requiring is under process. You need the PDOS and clearance from POEA to apply for OWWA. OWWA which is located in Intramuros to get your OEC. Plus you also need clearance from DOLE (Department of Local Employment) the clearance would be coming from POEA as well. Hay! I was really tired and frustrated. All the while I thought it would be easy. I hope this would help all of you who are still under process. Complete it now together with your other papers. I was tired and hungry but I was still thankful that it is still possible to resolve prior to my target date of departure. May God bless us all.
