Are you sure? I've read some post in this thread that if your point of entry is Philippines, you must pass by POLO, POEA, etc. THis will be another waiting game for you. Your employer must comply with what this agency is asking so that the POEA could issue you an OEC. Goodluck!

yeah i know that but i have no choice.. i need to go back to the philippines because of my company here.. besides i have already an idea on what to do when im already in the pinas..hopefully everything will be okay..

hi! do you have an email address of cic in riyadh? if you cannot view the status of your application then you try to send an email to riyadh.visa@international.gc.ca (on my case i applied thru vac in jeddah, i passed my documents last november 11 and i received an email last january 26 and they sent by courier the additional form for LCP, police cert. request form and employer additional information form. I was on vacation in philippines at that time and luckily i was able to get a green nbi clearance from there. They also need income tax notice of assessment, ITR of employer and other notarized declaration from the employer. They don't need the nbi clearance i took from phil. embassy jeddah and also the police cert was expired already because i took it last october. What they wanted was, we should wait for their request before processing the police cert. As of present, my additional documents are under process in visa section embassy of canada riyadh. I had finished my medical last march 4. Good luck to all f us!

-i passed my application onlinr.. after i paid the processing fee the cic send me an email confirming that they have recieved my application. It happened on the same day i submitted my application. Then the day after i received an email again stating that my application has been updated and i must log in to mycic and check my status and messages but then after i logged in there's no update or message in mycic... up until now nothing is new. I also tried to logged in using a computer to check but its still the same...

-i want to know whats the update...

-i already passed the income tax/notice of assessment of my employer in my application.. i included it under the dilocument LCP-financial means of the employer...

-do you think they will answer if i'll send an email to that address?

hi pinkulotz.. alhamdullah you saw my posts.. thank you.. anyways i am nt through online my employer is like direct hire.. i have found somebody there in canada to help me process my application and she has available employer who will be the one to get me in canada.. they are in vancouver 4 days ago they passed LMO.. hopefully it will not take 3 months for the approval.. wow 2-3 months processin cic riyadh thats fast.. hope i will / we will have a smooth process coz honestly? im tired in saudi already.. esp i am a female..

hi pinkulotz...14/3 2014 you started your application so inshallah if 2-3 months processing time then by june you will be in canada? fingers crossed.. anyway do you plan to fly from here in saudi to canada? because for me im thinking that case also..but i dont know hows that possible. i would love to keep in touch with you for the reason that same LCP and 2014 applicant..youre way advance than me coz you got positive LMO already... thanks again...

It is possible as long as you are cleared from the immigration and dont have any liabilities here in the kingdom and you have your exit visa plus your visa to canada. Most of the applicants done this already. From Saudi to Canada... coz if tou will go back to phil.there are some additional process that you have to complter before you can fly to Canada.

Yes..My LMO is at the palm of my hand already. ;D BUt then I am still waiting for my new passport. I just renewed last March 5. Still another month of waiting for the application to start. Hays.. Pagod na ako.

It is possible as long as you are cleared from the immigration and dont have any liabilities here in the kingdom and you have your exit visa plus your visa to canada. Most of the applicants done this already. From Saudi to Canada... coz if tou will go back to phil.there are some additional process that you have to complter before you can fly to Canada.

hi pinkulotz.. thanks for the reply...where do you work in dammam? you said i must have exit visa? i am planning for resignation but if resign must pass it 3 mos before the due but i don't know how will i see if its okay now to resign.. my end contract is AUgust..my iqama is on October.. yeah i don't want to go phils i know there are lots to do there.. pinas pa! hehehe thanks...

When is the expiration date of your passport?

Oct 2014. I've been sending mails to our embassy but then they are advising me to apply for an extension instead of waiting for the new passport if I am in a hurry. Extension of the validity of the passport is only good for another year. SO maybe its a better choice to just wait for the arrival of my new passport.

Im thinking kasi if you can send your application even if your passort is about to expired since it is still valid until oct.2014... maybe you can include a note saying that your passport is currently on renewal process.. though im not sure if it is possible coz i havent read anything that its not allowed to submit your application if your passport is about to expire. Renewal is a month process lang naman so definitely you have your already have your new passport by the time they will request for your passport...

did the embassy had given your tracking number? i understand how you feel, try to email riyadh.visa@international.gc.ca...state your work permit application number and your inquiry they will reply you via automated machine then wait before 24 hours for another reply...good luck!

I think you dont need to resign if your contract will end this year... if your visa got approved earlier, you can just go early exit... no need to resign... the time for your application until the expiration of your contract is already enough... it will be easier if we'll not go back to pinas.. no need for POLO, OWWA and POEA.. haha

my company will let me pay 6500 sr if i will resign or i wont be finishing my contract(1st contract) i am having headaches what will i do.. im thinking for emergency leave even... hays but let just see.. hoping for the best.. thank you..
