What I did, I've sent a request for application file no. And they reply after a month .

@marjul - How did you sent the request? Was it to VFS or directly to the embassy? thank you.

Yes i received Passport request with such number but the problem there is no option to check your file status with that number

Any one try before ?

I got the LMO and contract on 09 FEB
Document received to the Embassy on 26th of FEB
PPR on 24th of Aug

Did u recieve ur file no only, or it contains ppr .

It was through mail...for the follow up enquiry....and yea its tru work permit applicant cannot track their application...but in CIC website file number is like that which starts from a letter followed by 9 digits...

And kung nasa employer nyo ung passport nyo, pano nyo kukunin or hihiramin yung passport once nirequest ng Embassy ung passport at kung ano dahilan nyo para mahiram/mkuha yung passport nyo? Salamat.

Hey Gerald, I am working currently in Qatar, and once you have the request from the embassy, you may inform your HR that you need your passport for visa purposes.

Hi. i applied TWP but its not on the list on scroll down bar. I clicked OPEN WORK. bcoz one of my frienfs with an agency they were advised by the agency to choose OPEN.

Today I sent 3rd Enquiry Urgent Email to Canadian Embassy on abdbi-im-enquiry-@international.gc.ca and mentioned the reason why its urgent because employer calling , LMO expired , 10 months is going to be finish and again same response like
first computer Generated response

ehh let see this week what I get response hope apparently its seems refuse but I do not know why its taking long time
