Di ko talaga inaadvise na sa pinas nalang hintayin yung visa pero kung no choice talaga pwede na rin. Di ko alam kung nagbackground check pa sila pero sakin naman wala problema kahit nasa pinas ako.

6 months po talaga ang processing time sa ngayun pero time to time nagbabago yan. Sa mga nakikita ko halos 7 months mahigit yung sa iba dito sa forum pati yung akin.

Andito pa rin naman ako sa UAE till December 2013 pa valid ang residence visa ko which is exactly my 6 mos at end of contract wih my boss. Nagpass ako last June 9, 2013 lang.
Currently im jobless at terminated rin ako pero nag ask muna ako sa present employer ko na wag muna icancel bisa ko until i got approval of canada visa at pumayag naman sya pero how if it will takes more than 6 mos? I am considering na umuwe at dyan na lang antayin sa Pinas yung approval kung makakalusot. Binigyan ako ng till Sept 2013 ng amo ko pero baka makiusap ako na ubusin n lng yung remaining mos.Hopefully wag namang tumagal pa ang proseso nila
Pero iniisip ko din na maghanap na lang muna ulit ng work dito sa UAE at pacancel na ako bago mag Dec 2013, irerequest ko at same time na iwithdraw ang passport ko sa Embassy.
Nakakaparanoid minsan kasi while waiting im not earning buti na lang I have my bro and sis here with me na nag susupport sa akin.
Salamat pala sa advise and we all hope and pray everything will be ok positively!
Pakipost naman yung update sa iyong apply after mo masend yung passport sa Embassy.
I'm sure God will provide.....

I have a question, which one is more valid the original documents for Diploma, TOR or the ones with red ribbon? I have my original docs however i am still thinking maybe they will still require the copies in red ribbon.

Hi guys..I am new here..I was helped by a cousin to get a job in Edmonton.. Last week he informed me that my LMO was already on processed..Today, i got an email from my employer with attached copy of positive LMO from the Service Canada Center. Its a 4 pages documents stating the NOC code which is 6215-Cleaning Supervisor. Theres nothing fancy about the job but im taking it as a stepping stone.

Guys, how long should i wait before i receive by LMO? I am a direct hire and absolutely no idea how i work after i got the LMO..I started reading the Canadian embassy website but its a bit complicated to understand. I really got no clue where to start. I know its too early yet for me but i want to start completing my requirements for the visa application stage.

Can anyone explain the process and requirements for applying for Work Permit? I really appreciate if someone can help me with this matter.



Hello!!!! Richi, welcome to the forum, first of all may we know in which country your staying now? If you are in abroad you need to provide a NBI clearance from our country police clearance in which country you are now then you need to provide a bank draft in canadian currency coz here in kuwait were doing here in bahrain exchange for the amount of 150 CAD$... Then you need to fill all the application form which you can download thru canadian embassy abu dhabi...down load this forms...IMM1295E--IMM5257B_1--IMM5645E--IMM5488E and fill-up all those forms or send me your email so that i can give you the full check list...

Hi chuck, thanks for the reply... im currently working here in Abu Ahabi..i was been able to read all the requirements from the canadian embassy website.. and printed out all the forms that i need to fill up...yeah i think i need to start working with all the requirements, super damiiii!!!!! i am having a problem also with a police clearance from qatar.. i was there like 2007-2009 and it takes like 2 - 3 months to get one based on some blogs i read about. it giving me a headache... plus NBI... uffff!!!!! but i can do this, i still have plenty of time... my cousin informed me that processing of LMO in Edmonton takes 6-8 weeks... i think just enough to complete all my requirements... So help me God..... ??? ;D

Hi richi' are u in the philippines? If so, start getting all your docs red ribbon attested, photocopies of uour passport, certified true copy from any notary public, make sure all your docs which are photocopy are certified, if you got your lmo scanned copy no need to wait for the original! Print it in colored make sure its clear, fill in the temporary work permit application, get your police clearances, prepare your photos. These are the main things that you need to know, red ribbon really takes time so make sure to prepare it asap! Hope it helps!

@richi' on a safer side mas maganda lahat ng docs red ribbon pati birth certficate mejo magastos talaga pero mas maganda na sabay mo ipasa lahat na ted ribbon! Alang expiration ang red ribbon kc official document na yan.

Waiting here positively twp din sakin since di na ako dependent sa mom ko kaya bukod ang processing ng sakin.

Later kukunin na ng mom ko passport nya sa aramex update ko kayo anung stamp nya sa passport! Im soooo happy din talaga kc ako lang lahat nagprocess ng documents nya! at napatunayan ko na ang galing ko ahihini

I think you need the red ribboned docs to be attested from the Phil. Embassy in UAE so as to prove its authenticity.

I am now in the process of doing this...

Natagalan kami sa pagpapared robbon ng docs kc pareho pa kami nagpunta ng pinas para maasikaso ang papers' reminder po sa passport make sure na matagal pa ang validity kc dun magbabase ang immigration sa canada ng validity stay natin!

Nung sinend namin ang docs lahat halos ay authenticated red ribbon ang passport copies puro notarized ng attorney jan dun s pinas, pati nbi at police clearance red ribbon ko na din sinend everything went smooth! Really im so happy to share lahat ng hirap namin sa pagprocess' im so happy talaga na sooner makakamit namin ang benefits ng Canada' my aunt is waiting there as well pero nung nag bakasyon kmi ng mom ko dun in gods grace talagang sa less than a month nakakita kami ng magbibigay ng lmo sa amin!
