Hello Guys,

I have a question,in I found a new job here in Canada on a skilled category, I am just waiting for the LMO to be released at the same time my wife who is currently in Oman, got a job offer here, she is also waiting for her LMO to come out, My question is, if my LMO comes out first, can I apply SOWP for her at the same time when I apply my new work permit? or we just wait for her LMO, How long do I have to wait once I become skilled worker to apply a SOWP for her? What is the best thing to do? wait for her LMO ?or apply SOWP then show that she has a job offer in Canada.

Thanks everyone, the email from the embassy is dated 13 October but my lawyers sent it to me today.

I went to the embassy at 9.30 and gave my passport, went back and picked it up at 2.30 with the visa stamped. There was only one other couple there, it was very quiet. Hopefully it's a low season and visas will be processed faster!

Passport is valid till 2017 and my visa is till 2015 (2 years)

how many hours from dubai to abu dhabi? and From abu dhabi bus terminal to the embassy?

Dubai to AD by car is 1 hour to 1.5 hours, if by bus then double the time. The terminal is a 5-10 minute taxi drive to the embassy.
