Are approval letter same as Letter of Introduction (Port of Entry Letter)?
Really worried here, my husband got his passport with visa stamped last May 19..
But until now no email for his LOI?
He send 3 emails to cem abudhabi for follow up.no reply.

Yup its the same. You need to print out a copy of that letter with your passport. Because immigration officer @ the (Port of Entry ) will ask for that before they issue the work permit.

Is your husband received an email from embassy with attachment?

I just check his cic account..the last email was passport request dated May 5..
He applied online.SOWP.
His flight schedule is on June 17.but I decided to cancell it because of said document needed.

We send email at cem abudhabi for follow up dated May 23, May 30 and June 9.
Until now no reply..I also tried to phone them but only automated answering machine, same as when we send email automated reply answer.

What to do guys?

When i picked up my Visa stamped at VFS Manila in that package also contained another copy of POE though I also received POE email form MyCIC.
I have also read here that they just received their Visa without having visa approval email but it is in there in the Visa package.

Maybe you can contact VFS about your POE.

Hi there..my friend in Abu Dhabi just got her visa stamped on her passport..with the TFW moratorium in place, do you think it is safe to enter Canada? Will she be issued a work permit in the CBSA border? I heard thru the grapevine recently that some Filipino workers coming from Taiwan on a working visa were denied a work permit upon arrival at the airport and were sent home. Please enlighten me on this.

Is your working visa on a Food Sector? Are you not worried about the TFW moratorium? When do you intend to enter Canada? I am here in Canada right now and I heard it is not safe to present your visa at the airport.

Base on jenog's NOC he is not from the food sector . There's nothing he should worry about since only those belong from the food sector industry are getting sent back .

I doesnt know anyone personally whom have been sent back, but i do read alot of comments in this forum that some of the tfw from the food sector have been sent back home, but at the same time some of the tfw got to passed the immi without any problem, so it's really depend , no one can say as of now what's the real score.

You are right. Although my NOC 6622 listed on the affected moratorium. But our company are not belong in the food sector. My employer has been in the home improvement and construction materials
(Hardware store).

So I thank God always....

I received my visa last July 15, 2014. It took only 3 months and 2 weeks only.
