work permit and travelling

I have a valid work permit, valid until sept 30th 2015, am now traveling to Poland (and am Polish, so visa-exempt), I want to go back to Canada in May - will I need to apply for something/show something on the border to the border officer, or can I just simply go back (with my passport and permit in passport, of course) - ?

1. No, you don't require anything further. You may be questioned on entry if you are still working, but that is about it.
