hi guys . i got offer letter from nova scotia. i will apply through AIPP program . i will apply for me only.
my question is i got married in USA 2010 and since 5 years ago i dont know anything about her . is the canadian immgration will ask me about papers for her such as clearance certifacate from the police station or Birth certificate for her when i apply for Work permit or PR?
please advise

When you apply for PR, your wife is required to complete the medical and provide PCCs in order for your application to be approved. You will also be required to provide her passport. If you are no longer with her, strongly recommend that you start divorce proceedings so that you can show this as evidence when you apply for PR to prove you are no longer with her and can exclude her from the application.

Make sure you declare that you are married in the work permit application. Do not misrepresent your status in either the work permit or PR application. If you do, this will be discovered during background checks and you'll be banned from Canada for 5 years.

thank you scylla. i really approcite your answer . i filed in dubai court for divorce but iam waiting for attest my marriage certificate in USA but it took long time in the US government and that is wired for me . iam still waiting to submit it to the cour and give me the court according to it. i really dont know what to do
please advise

In that case you should be fine. Just include the legal papers to show you have filed for divorce in Dubai.

and only attach the letter from the court that is prove the i filed for divorce with the work permit and PR?

Yes - you must say married.
