Hi everyone,

I sent my application on October 20, 2013, by sponsorship. We sent work permit and Permanent resident at the same time. So it is gonna be almost 1 year and I can't work, get my drive license nothing because they don't even open my file, at least I would like my work permit. Any suggestion should I apply for my work permit again separately?

thanks,

Assuming you applied for PR using the inland / within Canada process, you won't receive your work permit until you have first stage approval. First stage approval is currently taking 13 months:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-fc.asp

This means it will be November or December before you hear anything.

There is no point applying for the work permit again. This won't accomplish anything.
