Work history gained while studying. Can I put it in Express Entry application?

Hi everyone,

Need help/advice.

I'm trying to fill the Express Entry application but faced difficulty in the Work History section. I gained my work experience (at first full-time 1year and then part-time 1year) while studying full-time (both in undergraduate and graduate). cic.gc.ca states that: "Student work experience gained while you were studying in Canada or abroad counts towards the minimum requirements for the Federal Skilled Worker Program" and my goal is to apply for the FSW program.

However, in the Express Entry application form, it is mentioned: "Do not enter any work related to or performed during an apprenticeship process." To my understanding, the work experience gained while studying should not be mentioned. So, I cannot mention any of my work experience in the application form. Is this correct? If yes, how can I inform the immigration officer that my plan is to apply for the FSW program and I have relevant work experience for it?

P.S. my work experience is not connected to my studies at all (i.e. it was not a co-op, etc.). My NOC for work is the same as my education. I only need to know where can I put that information.

Sorry for the long question,
Thanks for your time :)
Stay safe!!

You can enter any work experience that meets the requirements. Studying isn't the same thing as an apprenticeship process.

I presume all of this was outside of Canada?

You don't choose to apply for the FSW program; rather, if you are eligible for it (and not eligible for the CEC) your application will automatically be considered as a FSW.
