  • Can any one explain me these 3 points below witth examples:
  • To be eligible for permanent residence under the Canadian Experience Class you must have completed, within the three years before you apply, at least:
    • 12 months of full-time work:
      • 30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours), OR
    • equal amount in part-time hours, such as:
      • 15 hours/week for 24 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
      • 30 hours/week for 12 months at more than 1 job = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)

Very well explained as it is.
Before you apply...you must have worked fulltime for at least a year in the last three years.

Ok thank you,

Consider a situation, i have total 1year and 3 months of experience in the same field.
1st company I worked for 9 months
And 2nd company I worked for 6 months.

Will this type of case be considered?

consider this situation which is real in my case.

I stared working from 14 th April 2017 until 7 th September 2017 then a gap of 18 days.
Joined another company on 25th September 2017 and working here since then.

Now is my profile eligible?

Although valid, it wont give you much points. CIC has a weird way of calculating...in that sometimes they disregard the month you started etc but since the employment is still alive...its worth a try. Provided that both employments fall under the same noc. (You can off course apply under multiple nocs if want to...but that is always risky)
