Work from home - Canadian Experience

I’m currently working remotely from Ontario for a company based in Alberta. I was wondering if this experience will qualify for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) or if my application could be affected by working from home.

If you receive T4, CPP/EI/taxes dedicated on paystubs and skilled then it counts for CEC.

Yes, I receive a T4 with CPP, EI, and taxes deducted from my paystubs, and my position is considered skilled. However, my immigration consultant mentioned that she is unsure if the government would be okay with my job being fully remote, even though I live in Canada and work for a Canadian company.

If on an open work permit then should be no issue.
