Work for UK company whilst visiting Canada allowed?

Hi Guys,

Can't seem to find any information on the rules of the visitor visa for canada. I know we are not allowed to work in canada without a working visa but are we able to work for a company outside of canada e.g the uk whilst just visiting?

I would like to visit for 6 months but want to work for my UK company over the internet whilst I'm there, what is the legalities of this?
