Hey guys,

Hey guys, Adarsh from India here! I have a query regarding Masters and subsequent application for PR via CEC. If we do a masters program that is 1 year long in Canada and we have 1 year PGWP, can we extend our Post Graduate Work Permit so that we can apply for PR via Express Entry CEC? Will our company need to provide Labour Market Impact assessment Certificate (LMIA) for this , which I heard is hard to get?

You will need to go with the LMIA route, you can't extend your PGWP.

PGWP cannot be extended, and is only granted once for the entire lifetime of a person. So that means, you could not get a second PGWP by going back to school.
Seems to me that LMIA is the only way.
