Hello guys,

I am trying to understand the work experience for CEC and I am a little confused.

So, I worked for 1 year (52 weeks) in the same company.
48 weeks out of 52, I worked 30hs+, however, there were 4 weeks that I worked 20-25 hrs per week.

I already passed the 1,560 worked hours.
My question is, will those 4 weeks be considered part-time work?
Will I have to work for 2 (if that's considered part-time) or 4 weeks more (to compensate because it was less than 30hs per week)?

It's so confusing

does anyone have an answer for this?
Thank you people

You didn't pass 1,560 hours because for immigration purposes, IRCC counts only 30 hours per week. Thus, you actually have a deficit.
48 weeks x 30 hours = 1,440
[BASED ON YOUR PST] 4 weeks x 25 hours = 100 hours OR 4 weeks = 20 hours = 80 hours
TOTAL = either 1,540 OR 1,520 hours (or somewhere in between).

You are in a deficit.

Yes, those 4 weeks will be considered as part time work. Yes, you will want to work additional weeks to compensate for the part time weeks and to make sure you have a full year of work experience. If you work an additional 2 weeks full time, this will make up for what you are missing.

Reasonable vacation time counts towards your working hours. You're not expected to work 52 full weeks (or more) without vacation.
