Hi All,

Please help me with gaining points for work experience. Currently I have 2 years of experience. But it is with three companies, with the current company i am working for 13 months, before that i worked in a company for 8 months and 4 months in other company. Can i gain points for 2+ years, will they consider 8 and 4 months experience from an other company or I should have completed 1 year with each company to claim the points.
I don't have any break in between that 2 years.

Please advice.

Thanks,
Viva.

- You can work with any number of companies during the time for which you want to claim points (2 years in your case)
- However, you have to show Letter of reference from each of those employers citing your Duties and responsibilities during your tenure.

Thanks a Lot. :)

Experience letter- applying for FSWP

Good day everyone

I have a question about the letters of reference- none of the companies I have worked for have agreed to provide a letter in the exact format CIO has asked for and they have not agreed to mention job duties.

I worked as a Senior Business Associate in Trust Admin for two years in the UK (1114) and though my experience letter mentions other details, the company I worked for have said they are unable to mention job duties in the letter. I do have a list of the job duties, but as a separate document, not on the company letterhead. My contract too mentions my job title as per the experience letter.

Any ideas or thoughts on how to proceed with this? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I have Experience letter from my employer saying I have been working from ------------ to ---------- as (designation) at .................organization

and

I have Letter of Reference from my manager saying experience as well as roles and responsibilities.

Is Letter of Reference is sufficient or do I need to submit Experience letter also (as experience letter does not state duties)

as per the check list (IMM008) it says Letters of Reference from all employers of 10 years

seniors plz advice

thanks

You have to try and get your job duties outlined by your Manager / Senior in a notarized letter with their business card attached. This seems like a very important step in your application since none of the companies you have worked with has agreed to provide you with a Letter Of Reference.

Hi, I have a question here, I hope some body can help me..

One of my ref letters doesnt have Salary and No of Hours mentioned (though the Words "Full Time" is mentioned).. the employer has simply refused to put that in. Will a Salary Slip be sufficient along with this letter? or will it be rejected?

Full time is absolutely fine.

Salary Slip is fine as well assuming you have your duties outlined in the letter.

Yea, the duties & responsibilities section is there... However, the Doc checklist at CIC says that I need to have Hours as well as salary on my Ref Letters... Thats why I asked... So you guys sure it will work?

Mention of Full time instead of hours is fine.
