Hi Everyone!

I hope you'll are safe and doing well.

I would like to pick your brains regarding my profile w.r.t work experience.

A. Company 1 - Operation manager (Full-time) - 2yrs - 2011-13
B. Company 2 - Trainee Software engineer (Full-time) - 1.4 yrs - 2014-2015
C. Masters MBA - 2016-2018
D. Company 3 - Retail assistant (Part-time) - 16 months - 2018 - 2020

Since 3 yrs experience gives me more points compared to 2,

1. Company 1 would be Level 0 and Company 2 would be level B. - Is this going to be an issue? (From manager to fresher in different fields)
2. There is a gap of 1 yr between 1 & 2 -Do I mention what I did then? If so, how?
3. Do I mention the 3rd experience? Is it necessary at all?
4. Do the case officers ever consider "continuity" and wonder what has the candidate been doing since 2018 (if I don't mention the 3rd exp).

Please let me know. I'm ready to submit my EE profile.

Thank you,
Aditya

1) No
2) Not required in the work experience section
3) Yes, but under the education section
4) No, this is not a requirement. You can explain further in a letter of explanation after ITA if you like, but it is not required.
Thank you for the swift reply, Dan. Just to clarify one more thing,

I mention the 3rd experience (Retail assistant) in the education section?

Hi, please what proof do you show for work experience? Is it only a reference letter from previous employer or other documents are included?
Other documents like, payment slip, what if you were paid in cash every month, how can one show proof of work experience exactly?

And one more question please, must your work experience be related to your course of study in the university. For example, I studied engineering and has work experience as an administrative manager in a none engineering firm.

Hi! I need your help.... I've been working full time in Canada since September 2018, but until September 2019 I was working in retail as a salesperson, and then I moved into marketing that it's a skilled job....
I have 2 questions:
1- My previous experience could be considered as a Canadian experience?
2- If I have 8 months working in a skilled job can I include one year in the application? including one letter from my company that they'll keep as a worker?

thanks!
