I am a specialist doctor from India. I have completed my mbbs and MD gynaecology. I have sent my mbbs degree to mcc to verify for the ECA. As per the cic website my mbbs and MD both give me an equivalence of masters. Hence decided to use only my mbbs degree for the ECA. In such a case can my postgraduate training be considered as work experience. It was full time for a period of 3 years and I received a monthly salary as well for it. My letter from the hospital says "worked as a resident in gynaecology".
Any help/ advise would be highly appreciated. Thanks

You can use it as work experience if you,ve worked full time and can get a referral letter from the employer stating your job duties which should match with the points stated in the NOC

thanks for the reply. my point of confusion was that IRCC tweeted that this should not be during your full time education, although according to the ministerial instructions this applies to Canadian Experience Class only and not to FSW program. and yes, even during my Masters I was doing the same NOC duties and was getting paid.
