Seeking Advise...

upon receiving PGWP, I worked at a gas station as a CSR for 4 months and then got a job at bank (been working there for over an year now)
Should I mention my gas station work experience (in an effort to receive higher points)?

As I understand, if you want to claim points for work experience, you must have been paid for the work. So, if you were paid for you 'CSR' at gas station then you can claim the points.

Thank you for the reply. I was indeed paid for my services and I filed my taxes for the income earned. Taking that into consideration, I want to edit my work experience and give it a shot. I just dont want it to look bad on my profile (a job that doesnt fit my qualifications)

What was the NOC code and skill level at the gas station? Unless it falls under OAB it will not count for additional work experience.

It was 6621. I just submitted and the update dropped my points by 27. Do you recommend deleting the experience

unless the work is in OAB which yours wasn't, it will not be an advantage to include.

hello friends, i am confused regarding my work experience. i am not getting whether it would be counted as canadian work experience or not. i am web designer , currently working on canadian e-learning project. my employers is in canada and i am in india. they hired a team in india and i am part of that team. now like its been more than a year that m working on this project, should i specify this time period as canadian work exp or not .. please let me know if someone have knowledge regarding this

No. I didnt, I am pretty sure there are more than a dime in a dozen that will qualify for that job.

Hello..

I worked at my previous company for around 1.4 years. i worked as Trainee engineer for the initial 6 months and after that i got permanent with the position of Jr.Engineer. So my question is, do i need to mention both designations in my EE profile.
