Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
To be eligible for full 15 points in work experience one should work for 6+ years in the last 10 years. Now if one has been working from 2003-2009 and has been unemployed ever since he still would have 6 years of experience in the last 10 years i.e he would be eligible to apply. But would he be rejected for being unemployed for the last 4 years?

Going by the way it is mentioned in the website, the application should not be rejected. My wife is the main applicant and she is been unemployed for past 1 year.

Ladies would be given consideration in most cases - reasons being maternity, taking care of family etc. And 1 year isnt much of a gap. Would there be an enquiry as to why one has been unemployed for the last 4 years? Would he still sail through provided he has satisfied the condition of 6 years work-ex in the last ten years?

Experts?

Unemployment is not concern, but for 4 yrs will raise several questions

Were u studying or any personal?

U need to take a chance

CIC is not concerned about your present employment status though it would be good if you are still employed at the time of applying but still if they ask for 6 years of experience and you have it.....you are very much eligible to apply :)

from where did you get that from 6+ thinga?

Personal. It is natural to be questioned for being unemployed for so long but would it be a reason for rejection even though he has satisfied the 6 yrs in last 10 criteria?
Have you come across cases like this? Asking on behalf of a friend.
