Work experience verification - previous company closed

Iam preparing to apply for FSWP. My previous company (which i left 5 years ago) has closed its business now. To get full experience points i need to include this experience . I have all the documents like appointment letter, pay slips, pay rise letters, termination letter which i can send to cic as proof of work. My worry is that when CIC will try to call the company for verification, they will not be able to get in touch. Can this cause any problem?

Normally they do not call previous company for verification if your current job is according to NOC.....but on safe side you may write an explanation letter.......

If your total points without considering your previous job is > 67. Then you should not worry at all. At the most if in case they inquire and do not get response from the company (as it is closed), they may not consider that experience.

If my IELTS results (due tommorow!) is as per my expectation, it shouldnt be a problem. Anyway i will attach all available docs from previous job and an explanantion letter.
