Work experience question

Hi everyone, thanks for taking time.

I have a quick question. My main and current occupation is marketing and I have a total of 5 years of work experience. But one out of those 5 years was not in marketing, but in banking.

Now the question is, when I fill in work experience in a skilled occupation info, should I count all 5 years or do I need to count only 4?

Doesn't matter for CRS. Matters only for program eligibility under FSWP - make sure your Primary NOC is the marketing one.

You can mark 5 years for work experience in a skilled occupation provided both your job NOCs were 0/A/B.

Seems like credit officer is Skill Type C.

Do you think I should include it in my work experience anyway and let them decide whether to count it or not? Or including it may be considered wrong and cause rejection?

Leave it out. CIC explicitly asks for NOC 0/A/B only.

Sorry, i checked again and found the loan officer/credit officer is type B.
