Work Experience Question for PR

Hey all,

My last semester of University (Jan 2018-April 2018) I was part time only taking 1 course. I started work full time in Janaury but applied for my PGWP during the same semester. My application for PGWP was accepted in march/ April. Will this affect my PR Application and will work from Janaury count towards it?

The Work u did during study Jan to april 2018 wont be counted. When u applied work permit, from that onwards you were in implied status and that would be counted as work experience

It wont effect your PR application. But work would be counted from the day u applied work permit not study time work

Thank you for your response! Is there a way to see the date i applied for PGWP? I do not see it on my profile on the cic website.

Thank you!! I read on some forums that because i started work full time in jan while doing 1 course that it was illegal & it may have affected my PR.

My pgwp applicatin was received march 29th. Will they start counting from then or the issue date on pgwp?
