Work experience query

i have a query regarding work experience.i worked in two different dental clinic from 2016 to till now.from 2016 to 2018 worked in one and from 2018 to till now working in differnt organization.i want to show experience of just current employer and he is also ready to give me all the documents like pay slips and salary certificate from 2016. but the question is how i am able to explain the salary credited by past employer which was not in exact figures every month and sometimes they used to give me in cash also.so how im able to explain it as im not showing any work experience from their side

For foreign work experience, you can claim maximum points for 3 years.

If you only want to claim work experience from 2018 till date, will your CRS score be enough to make the cut ? Last all program draw was at 471.


As for the work experience, nowhere in immigration refugee protection act is it written that cash salary is not allowed, but the onus is on you to prove it.

You need only papers:

1) Reference letter:

With ALL the details, as required by CIC.


2) Salary Certificate:

A letter issued by employer on letterhead head, stating that employee was paid in CASH throughout the tenure, along with job title, tenure period and monthly salary (also annual salary).

Thanks for the reply @Canmah if i count experience from 2018 my score comes down.i m not showing past employer experience as my current is ready to give me all documents From back date.so the question here is the amount credited by past employer will create a problem as they can question me from where you were getting that amount.

If am not showing his work experience and the current one is providing everything. I ll provide last 6 month statement.so i think there is no need to disclose anything

I am in middle of jobs right now. My last working day with my now previous employer was yesterday, 30th June. My next job is starting on 9th July. And I have all the documents ready to be uploaded. How should I deal with this 8 days gap between jobs? Should I put it under personal history and keep the dates as 1st July to till date and experience as unemployed? I already know that the next job will start on 9th. So not sure what should be the end date of this 8 day gap. I have 13 years of work experience and have reference letters for the whole tenure so my points surely will not get impacted. Any help will be highly appreciated!
