I worked with Accenture for 34 months and my NOC would be NOC A 2171. 34 months would be considered as 2 years.
I now have a job from PwC but it will fall in a different NOC ( NOC A 1122 )

When my work experience with PwC crosses 2 months, can I show 36 months of work exp despite the work exp being in two different NOCs?

3 years would shoot my score from 453 to 478 :/

I don't know for sure but something is not right here... I was under the impression that when you create your profile, in the Work Experience section, you identify the Primary Noc under which you claim the points. Now you can change the jobs as many times as you want, as the long as the NOC remains the same, you continue to accumulate points. But system won't add points or count experience for any NOC other than the primary...

Please double check as I am really new in this game...

Incorrect.

He can certainly claim points for another NOC as long as it is 0/A/B.

Yes.. Found that.. Was getting confused with 2 different things here.. This is a post by Asivad Anac

The distinction here is CRS and FSWP eligibility.

For CRS, mix and match works. For FSW eligibility, you have to choose experience gained under a single NOC - that scale maxes out at 15 points for 6+ years of experience. Under EE, this is termed Primary NOC. So your primary NOC experience determines your program eligibility (in part) while for CRS purposes, you can have other NOCs as well provided they are 0/A/B and acquired within last 10 years.

My Masters will end in March 2017. And I join PwC in June 2017. So once I have all my Masters Marksheets, is it okay that I create my profile, get my degrees assessed by ECA, and apply with work ex = 34 months before June 2017?

The site would let me update my work exp later after 2 months right?

You can update your profile as long as you didn't receive an ITA yet.
If you receive an ITA and the changes don't affect your score then you're good.
If you receive an ITA and the changes affect your score but you're score doesn't drop below the cutoff of that draw, you're good to go.

Hi tonykaram123,
Great info.

Just to understand a bit and to be more clear-
1. I have 34 months of work experience in total so far -
A. 29-months with previous company with NOC-2282 (NOC-B), and, 5-months so far with new company with NOC-2171 (NOC-A)
B. Which NOC should I apply for?

2. September'2017 - I should have 36-months (3 years) of continuous, full-time (minimum 38 or 40 hours per week) and paid experience
A. If I lodge before Sept and receive ITA - how can I prove 3-years of work experience?
B. Will my score get affected if I receive an ITA?
C. My score is 410 - I doubt I can get Federal invitation, but will it affect my PNP, however, I am so confused which PNP to apply for?

Can someone please advice?

Thanks!!

Mate for you 453 itself is more than a good score and ul be through in the next draw. It does not make any difference as far as gaining points is concerned

Hi girishjs111,

Q1. Did you get Bachelor's and Master's - both assessed or just one for "Skill transferability factors" (IELTS+ Education)? Is is mandatory to get Bachelor's degree assess when in "Core / human capital factors" I would get full 135points (no spouse) for showing my Master's degree?
Q2. Did you wait to get 36-months completed before you lodge Express Entry profile or you update before or after ITA?

Please advice.

Thanks!!

Both. I am from India and on WES website, it was mentioned that I had to submit my Bachelors + Masters to get my Masters evaluated. So sent both for ECA.

Q2. Did you wait to get 36-months completed before you lodge Express Entry profile or you update before or after ITA?
Nope. I had already left the job and was pursuing my higher studies. So I had just 34/35 months of experience. I thought that I will not get points for 3 years since I had worked from July 2012 to June 2015. But when I filled my application, it gave me points for 3 years of work experience. I guess they round it off

Please advice.

Thanks!!
