Work Experience points?

Good Day everyone,

I would like to apply through the express entry.
I have 3 years of full-time paid work experience as a chemical engineer. However, I worked the first year immediately after I finished my undergraduate study but before the graduation ceremony as I had to defer that to the next year,
will the first-year count with the other two years and give me the 3-year experience points?

Take my understanding of the CRS score calculation with a grain of salt. I believe that your 3 years of work experience qualify for 3 yers under the CRS score calculation, even though part of it was before the graduation ceremony. Put differently, the first year would count as well.

thanks for the reply,
but the express entry process takes lots of time and effort, I'd hate to start with uncertainty.
I could wait until I have 3 years after graduation, but that is too long though.
any advice on who I can contact for confirmation?
