Work experience of 2.6 years in Software Companies

Hello All

I have work experience of 2.6 years in 2 software companies and currently I am working as a freelancer from past 7 months.

I want to ask, how much experience will be counted if I apply for Express Entry.

The work experience is in Software Testing with NOC Code 2173 and the work that I am currently doing is Web Development with NOC Code 2175. Will the experience of both be counted?

How much experience will be counted if I show the work experience of the companies only? 3 years or 2 years?
As the slab is either of 2 years or 3 years when calculating CRS Score.

Please help me as soon as possible as I have to apply as soon as possible.

1 - 2 years if you only count your work experience with the software companies.
2 - 3 years if you count freelance work experience (of course this is assuming it is foreign work experience). That being said, proving such work experience might be tricky so be prepared.

As far as I am concerned (and I've been through a similar situation when I applied) you can use your freelance work experience as long as you can prove it was a significant workload. That would involve sending reference letters several clients along with your application, as well as providing tax information for the income you had in the period. Worked for me, but I really took some time to pull this off as the documentation was pretty extensive.

In my case there are two NOC codes, will that work?
I have experience letters from companies and if I tell my clients to give me experience letters for the time period I have worked for them on their letter heads, will that be counted? NOC Codes are different I repeat once again. Can there be 2 NOC Codes?

Yes, you can use two NOC codes.
