What will be mine total counatble work exp. Acc to cic.?
Both companies duties and my job profiles are same.

Hi, my query is regarding the format of job experience letter from the company. I am working as Software Engineer in the same organization past 3.4 years, which I joined as my first company in 2014. My company doesn't issue work experience letter unless you are you are leaving your job. However they do issue work experience letter for higher education purpose, mentioning "for the purpose of higher education" on the top of the letterhead. Will this kind of experience letter work for Canada's express entry profile?

Can anyone guide me in this regard?

I have a query regarding creating my EE profile. I have 9 years of work experience under two NOCs. Here is my situation:

1. For FSW eligibiligy, I have to show only 1 year experience since I have a PhD and IELTS CLP9 eq. So that is not an issue.
2. For CRS, I need to show 3+ years work experience to get 50 points with CLP 9. Here I have the following situation:
   • Company 1, NOC 1: 3+ years experience
   • Company 1, NOC 2: 2+ years work experience. Company 1 may give Work Experience for both NOCs
     
   • Company 2, NOC 2: 2+ years work experience. However, since its a current job, getting work experience under NOC 2 from Company 2 is difficult/unlikely

My QUERY: When I fill my EE profile, do I show only 3+ years work experience for Company 1, NOC 1, or do I show NOC 2 as well? Reason to show NOC 2 is that it is more in line with my PhD, while NOC 1 is more in line with my Engineering background (Bachelors). Or it does not matter?

I have had my company for a long time and I worked several years there. Now, I'm in Canada and it is not active anymore.
Now, I need to provide a letter that shows I worked there. I am the owner and I wonder how I can provide such letter?
The letter should be technically signed by myself and I don't know it will be accepted or not.

Hi,

It needs to be specific for PR. If your company doesn't provide that then you can have the EL meant for higher education and explain it in LOE why you were unable to obtain a genuine EL needed for PR. That would help.

The main purpose behind the letter is to show CIC that your employment is legit. They don't go much with how it is generated.

Gap of 17 months - Job search.
26 months (July'2011-Oct'2013)
35 months (Nov'2013-September'2016)
Gap of 08 months - Sabattical Break. Travel.
05 months (June'2017 - Present) - Conduent (Erstwhile Xerox India Pvt. Ltd)

WIll a gap in employment matters? If yes, how many point will be awarded in my above case?

Hi everyone. I am new to this forum. I'll really appreciate if someone could just answer this question and save me some trouble

Bachelors in Chemical engineering (Sep 2010 to June 2014)
Job 1 (Jun 2014 to Apr 2015) - 10 months
Job 2 (May 2015 to Aug 2016) - 15 months
Masters in Environmental Sciences & Policy (Sep 2016 to Jul 2017)

Based on the above info, I would like to ask if I should get my Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) for Bachelors or Masters? My work experience is more related with my Masters and I will also receive more points for applying based on my master. Both Jobs are covered in NOC 4161. Please advice if my pre- master work exp will be considered?

Ok. I have another question.
Following are experiences I have-

Jul 2013 to jul 2014 1 year full time (IT manager)
Aug 2014- July 2016 - 2 years, 8 hours per week (TA during full time studies in India. Can obtain reference letter)
Oct 2016-Jan 2016 4 - months(Web developer in a private company)
June 2017-till date - 5 months (web developer in same private company)

How much total experience can I claim from express entry

Hey,
I am confused about how to put my work experience while creating EE profile.

I have been working for
1) Company A March 2003 to May 2004 India
2) Company A's US subsidiary June 2004 to June 2004 USA
3) Company A July 2004 to Aug 2010 ( with 3 week visit to Australia for requirement gathering and 3 month visit to UK for requirements gathering).
4) Company A 's US subsidiary Sept 2010 till Date in US.

Company A was taken over by Company B in 2013 and Company B was taken over by Company C in 2015.

I will get a single experience letter from Company C - stating working since March 2003 till date without job duties. My appointment letter is from Company A. I can ask my manager/colleague to provide detail letter with duties.

Should I split up my work experience as shown above with same NOC code and submit a single experience letter with LOE?

Please advice. Thanks in advance.

For 1st employer 3.5 yrs, I hv reference letter with duties mentioned but no salary details. I do hv computer generated salary slips, bank statement but No form-16 No ITR. But i do hv form26AS ...

Will above suffice? I can skip this employer in case, I do have other 4 yrs of exp with full documents

Hi

I am Sunil Kapoor from India. I have applied to Schulich Business School for Master in Business Analyitcs and recently got admit. My course is starting this 25th April. The fee for the one year program is 76400 CAD but the course is pretty good. I need your advice on following points:

1. How is the program?
2. Is one year program a safe bet considering 1 year post study work permit?
3. Should my apply work permit for my wife along my study permit or not?
4. If my wife gets a job in 3-4 months after we landed in Ontario, how long can she work?
5. If she works for 9 months and then my study permit expires and she has to leave the job. Then she will get a job after a break of say 3-4 months and then she starts working. Now after her 3 months in job, she will have a total canadian exp of 9+3=12 months. In that case, is she eligible for PR points on the basis of her 12 months canadian exp. Or 12 months continuous exp is required?

Whaat you could do is to add the employer with missing docs in your personal history section and the one with docs to work history.
Like this you can avoid doc upload for employment that u place in the personal hostory
