My employer is not my family friend you see, and the current job market is very unstable in Pakistan so i don't wanna alert my employer beforehand, not until i get the visa, i might get fire on the basis of this.
Hi Fahad,

As nazia mentioned, you can submit your salary slips for past 6 moths without letting your employer know. I completed agree with you that unless you have the visa, there is not point talking about this to your employer. You should have a meaningful talk when you have everything in place and you have decided to resign from your job to serve the notice period.

Just a suggestion, if you have good relations with your employer then you can give them a verbal notification few weeks before resigning. Usually, we have a month notice period and trust me that it is very difficult to hire a replacement in less than 2 months. If possible, never burn bridges with your old employers as they come in handy for references and it is a very small world now a days.

Wish you best of luck for your application.
