hello,

I am filling my EE application, and I have a problem with the work experience section.

I m working for the same company since 5 years now, but in different positions.

started as an engineer, then senior engineer and now specialist.

please help me to fill it. do I enter it like one experience (If yes wich position I mention, the last one?) and then I provide one reference letter with all the positions,

or I fill every position as an experience and I provide 3 differentes letters.

thanks for your help

Be truthful only!

I Have the same situation. Just split the designations correctly for the cities you worked in. You may add multiple rows. You may have same designation different cities or different designation in the same city.
Make sure to arrange the reference letters accordingly later.

thanks for your reply,
I worked in the same location for the same company for all the five years. so one row will be ok, with the last designation?

In that case like I mentioned, better to have separate row for different designations.

Ideally it has to be one row for all your designations within a single company. You need to mention your latest designation. Even though you elevate within a given function in your organization, your MAJOR role will not change. Thus NOC code more or less remains the same.

Job titles are irrelevant. What matters is that your job description matches the summary description for the NOC, and you perform some or all of the job duties listed for the NOC.

I second niravk.
If you create multiple rows under experience section, then you will be required to submit multiple reference letters. This might not be possible as your company may issue only a single reference letter for your entire stay in the organization.

How will you tell about one designation within Canada and other one outside??

Hi,
For me, my job offer and experience letter has one job title (e.g. botanist) but the contract has a different one (Research Associate). Will this be an issue? Also, my job was renewed twice, so I have 3 job offers and 3 contracts, should I provide all job offers and contracts or the latest ones should be alright?
Thank you again.

here one more case (10 years ago) I worked for one of the organisation for 5 years which was partnership firm. But it was sold out to some one who merged it with his existing business and removed all old staff from previous management (Name of the organisation is remains same). But I have all experience letters etc from that organisation, but they did not maintained old employees database.

  • So in this case our names will not be there in that organisation list.. what will be our situation in EE database. if CIC calls to them definitely they will not have our information.
  • I have total 13 years experience as an employment out of it this 5 years part.
  • Two years I have run my own business and I have income tax proof for them
Please can some one advise in this scenario.
Thx

Hi All,

I have 10 years of experience. The break up is:

0-2 > ITeS - Company A
2 - 4 > Support analyst - Company B
4-6 >Support analyst - Company C
6-8 > Senior software engineer - Company C (NOC code is different for engineer and analyst)
8-10 > Manager - Company C

Problem is - my company C is only giving letter with the latest job position help ie Manager. They're going to put entire 6 years in same code.
This is my worry. I dont have any letter from company which says I got promoted, so that I can link the analyst role on offer letter and manager role on the referral letter.

Any suggestions please...
