Hello,
I worked in a company for a year. Got work exp letter from them. Then found out, I had to get it re-made in format acceptable to Canadian Govt/Immigration Authority.
Added to that, is the fact that the company was sold. Now, even if I get the work experience letter re-made, the new owner of the company doesn't know me, as an old employee.
Is there a way I can show this work experience ? I know Canadian Immigration authorities do background checks. My main concern is, that since the company was sold, and the new owner of the company doesn't know me, when Canadian authorities call them to verify my previous employment, it won't happen.
So, what are my option(s) ? Is there an amicable way out of this ?
