Hello all,
I worked for 9 months in a family-owned business. This work was done while I was waiting for my foreign for my visa and making travel arrangements to go to the US to study. I was given a fixed salary for the job. However, this business, although very firmly established has always paid employees in cash. Also, they don't do formalised payslips or provident fund etc. It's just how small businesses do things in Pakistan unfortunately. The only documentation I will have is the reference letter by them certifying my employment, duties, salary etc. This work is not my primary NOC, however, it still counts us professional managerial work experience NOC Type 0 and will count towards total foreign work experience.
Also, I don't think there is any other documentation that exists for me to prove this further.
Given all this, I'm hesitant to put this in my work experience, at the same time, since I did work there and don't have anything to hide, why shouldn't I be able to show it as experience. Confused here.
