Work experience gap

Hey All,

What shall I answer for the below question as I have 3 years of exp and then 6 months of gap and then 3+ years of experience in same occupation. Total exp = 6+


"In the last 10 years, how many years of skilled work experience do you have? It must have been continuous, paid, full-time (or an equal amount in part-time), and in only one occupation."

What does "Continuation" means? Does my work exp have to be without gap only?

I am also in same situation and i have also gap around 6 months. I read in some discussion group that we can mentioned there that i unemployed this time.

You can have experience from different employers and different NOC and you can still count them together. All you need is that each of them is at least 1 year full time employment or 2 years part time employment or even several simultanous part time employment for over 1 year that will give you that year.

So your experience in total will qualify over 6 years.

Hello,

I have a total of 4.5 yrs of work ex. All is in the same noc code.work ex is as below:-
Dec 11 - Aug 13
Dec 14 - till date.

It's with the same company. I was on a sabbatical for about 15 months.

My doubt is :-
1. For the calculation of points for crc. My continuous work ex Dec 14 till date works out to less than 3 yrs.Considering the earlier work ex the period exceeds more than 4 yrs and makes me eligible for more points.

How should I fill the express entry profile. Will the complete work ex be considered?

I am planning to apply through Express PR. I have work experience of 3.2 yrs with gaps involved in between. Of this 3.2yrs, 0.6yrs was before my Post Graduation and rest 2.8 after my Post Graduation.

1 - After my PG, 1st tenure was 1.3yrs ( with all docs i.e. salary slips, appointment letter and relieving letter)
2 - 2nd tenure of 0.4yrs then a gap of 9 months ( Appointment letter and salary slips and FNF settlement mail but no relieving letter)
3 - Third tenure of 0.4yrs ( Offer Letter, salary slips but no relieving letter and no exit documents)
4 - 4th tenure was of 0.7yrs. ( All docs and awaiting my exit docs as will get it with my FNF settlement)
Please advise if this should be a cause of worry.

I have not absconded in any of these cases except for my job before my PG that was for a tenure of 6 months . Please guide if i should disclose these experience as foreign work experience while applying for PR as this will affect my CRS score (1-3 yrs work ex gives me 25 points whereas 3+years gives me 50 points)
